Hi everybody,

Again with a question, so sorry, we decided to stay at the sealodge and especially unit D8 or C8 ( seems the most quiet unit )

have been googeling for a lot of time now and I do not find a website to contact the owner of these units ( maybe we could arrange a better price if we book it directly through the owner )

When you Google use Sealodge Kauai and the condo number like D8. It worked for me.

You can also go to VRBO.com and type in Sealodge -- all the by-owner rentals will show up on the complex. They are not always identified by number.

Many owners use a rental agency (sometimes several of them) to rent their units. If they do that, you will not be able to book directly with the owner, but that%26#39;s not really a big deal. The main thing is to get the exact unit you want.

We rented C-8 through this Agency back in Feb 08 and yes it is very nice and quiet (except for the sounds of breakers, birds %26amp; Gecko%26#39;s):

I%26#39;ll be staying at Sealodge J-7 next July and found it initially at VRBO.com. I feel lucky I%26#39;m booking directly with the owner, just because it seems like there%26#39;s that extra connection, there are not a lot of fees or the need for a huge downpayment like some places expect. Communication with her has been great.

Just a warning. We booked through Hestara and there is a $30.00 booking fee added to the bill. I did not know about this until it was over and done with.

I%26#39;m not 100% sure about this but the extra charge may be if you use your credit card to pay for your balance. They told me that If you use credit card there is an extra fee. you do have to use your card for the inital deposit but for the balance I sent a cheque.

I booked D8 for early October.
