My wife and I are going to be in Hawaii in October and was wondering what would be must sees and if anyone had suggestions as far as affordable but nice places to stay on oahu. we would love to go into Honolulu during the days but would like to stay somewhere quiet and away form the city. Thanks!

For resorts, there are only three outside of Waikiki:
Turtle Bay Resort on North Shore
Kahala Hotel %26amp; Resort, fairly close to Waikiki about 4-5 miles on the opposite side of Diamond Head
JW Marriott Ihilani on Leeward (west) side.

Waimanalo is a beautiful beach and a quiet neighborhood.

bus route you could have an inexpensive day%26#39;s outing
and see a fair share of this Great Island for what
