Accommodations near Bay Club Waikoloa Beach Resort

I have friends staying at the Bay Club at Waikoloa Beach. I am looking for reasonable accommodations, near the Bay Club, from February 21 to March 7,2009. One non-smoking couple. Thank you

Aloha,

You might wish to consider the Waikoloa Colony Villas or Hali%26#39;i Kai both of which are near the Bay Club.

We checked into the Bay Club on 9/30. We were staying free as a bonus for a club membership we bought a few years ago. We were given a one bdr, 2 bath unit. It was spacious, but that is the only good thing I can say. The musty smell that hit us walking in was just the start to our major disappointment. The pool conditions including the rusty shredded furniture put us over the top. We couldn%26#39;t open any curtains due to our location and our lanaii was literally 2 feet from the parking lot. We had a view of asphalt and a continual line of maintenance carts. So, we pulled up Craigs list and found 2 awesome options in the new Waikoloa Beach Villas renting through private owners. The average cost is 150-170.00 per night for a 2 bd\ 2 bath new condo with Viking BBQ%26#39;s on every private lanaii. Now we feel like we%26#39;re on vacation! We are near the pool and have only seen 2 other people there the entire week! The grounds are gorgeous and emaculate. We can walk to the Kings %26amp; Queens village for restaurants, groceries and events. You can book through Resorticahawaii.com. They have been awesome and so helpful! Or check vrbo.com for some other great condos. Don%26#39;t be afraid to dicker on the prices a little, the vacancy rate in the area is fairly high.
