USS Arizona Memorial - Help?

Can someone tell me if 11am is too late to get to see the memorial. Will there still be tickets available at this time?. We plan to go on the 28th of September which is a Sunday.

Possibly, but I sincerely doubt it. Was certainly not an issue when we visited in late July. Tourist travel is down 22%. There are no guarantees of course since there are a finite number of tickets daily. I%26#39;d try to get there earlier.

There will probably be tickets available at 11am. Try to get there as early as you can to make sure you get tickets.

Visitor numbers to Oahu are not down as much as the other islands.

I just posted my trip experience. We reached there at 2:10pm and got into the 2:20p group. There is always the risk of tickets selling out... The person renting out the audio tour said that the numbers were really low lately but then we were there on a Tuesday. Maybe Sundays are more busy.

littlehelp .... agree with Dusty, get there as soon as you can to pick up your first come, first ticket issued.

Along with Hazel, I too went to the USS Arizona in the afternoon, approx. 1 pm to be exact and we got three tickets for the shuttle one hour later.

Numbers are down, but, in-as-much-as the certain days you will have more than the other days, you never know how many visitors will visit the USS Arizona on different days. Sunday should be a good day and although you are at the ending of the Aloha Festivites held during the month of September, I am sure you will have no problems with USS Arizona shuttle tickets. I also believe that the Molokai to Oahu canoe crossing is that day, so tourist will be on the beach catching the ';action';.

We went on 5 Sept which happened to be the anniversary of signing of the peace treaty for the end of WWII. We didn%26#39;t know there was a planned event at the Missouri next door until we saw it on the morning news. Our shuttle dropped us off at 9.30am and instead of the crowds of people we expected, we managed to walk right in. Our trip was called at 10.15am. I suggest you go a little earlier than 11am but not as early as 7am as some people had suggested to us. That is when all the tour buses arrive.
