hyatt or sheraton in maui

which one do you think would be better in may for our honeymoon. we like to do a lot of things and def like night life

For lots of things to do ... and night life choose... EITHER! OK, that was not the answer you were looking for, but it will make sense to you once you arrive. Sheraton Maui is on one end of Ka%26#39;anapali Beach (south of Black Rock) and the Hyatt is on the other. Whaler%26#39;s Village is in the middle of that stretch of beach and easily acccessible via the beach walkway.

We far prefer the Sheraton. It%26#39;s quiet at night. Lowish buildings strung along a grassy area right on the beach. Great rooms, 2-island views, great food -- wonderful pool with pool bars that have great food as well. Gracious and spread out. Ahh ... can%26#39;t wait until December.

Hyatt ... large. Beach not as good as the Sheraton. Large building with stores and such in them. Kinda cavernous. Not as open air as the Sheraton. Lots of conferences/conventions. Still, very popular.

thanx BLBL that was just what i was looking for in an answer. we were leaning toward sheraton. just on question what is 2 island view?

yep - definitely agree with the above - the Sheraton for a honeymoon - right in front of Black Rock for great snorkeling, and a short 5-7 min stroll down the beach sidewalk to shopping and restaurants - congrats and have a great time!

You can see Molokai from some rooms and Lanai from others. There is a great open area at the top of the buildings on Black Rock where you can see both.

Try to get an ocean front room.

thanx guys i def will
