Rental Car Question

Does anyone know if it is better to rent cars from one company when island hopping? We are travelling by air from island to island, will be there a total of 3 weeks. Is it better to rent independently on each island, or is there company that will let us rent all the cars through them and therefore give us a discount?

No one company is particularly any better than any other. All have good and bad points.

Use hotwire or priceline. With rental cars there is no difference and why pay more for the same - they give you major companies in Hertz, National or Alamo.

KOA - $18 p/day

LIH - $14 p/day

OGG - $16 p/day

I always use priceline. All companies are the same to me. They usally have the best rates.

there are no interisland rental deals between conpanies. .....nemand...nichts

Each time you change islands it begins a new rental

because the rental periods will be less than 7 day the rates will be higher.

You will need to buy full insurance.. please inderstand that there are places and roads forbidden to rental cars.

Price line is good... reserve through them for each island seperately.. ( 3 seperate reservations)
