My husband has a bad back. Getting into the water isn%26#39;t a problem but getting back out can be. The one snorkel cruise we have taken the ladder had no hand rails so he was stuck on the boat. Anybody know of boats with good sturdy ladders with hand rails that go to Molokini or Lanai for snorkeling??

I don%26#39;t get as much ';boat time'; as I%26#39;d like, but I%26#39;m thinking most of the double-decker boats (150 passenger cattle boats) have dual ladders with rails going into the water. My last commercial boat ride was on the Ocean Odyssey with PWF and I remember using the rail with one hand while I passed my fins and camera up to the crew.

The sailing catamarans like Trilogy, Paragon, and the other ones that pull up onto Kaanapali for loading all have stairways with siderails that lower into the water. Trilogy and Paragon go to Lanai and you get off on a dock and walk to a beach. The Molokini and Coral GArdens trips you use the staircase. Look at pictures of the boats on the websites. I do not suggest a raft (RIB) boat.
