We are going to be staying at the Marriott Wailea and would like any suggestions for stuff to do and stuff to avoid. We want to see as much of Maui as possible but also relax by the pool/beach. We will have a car. Any tips would be appreciated.

Honeymoon suggestions...I%26#39;d pick up a good guidebook or two. Maui Revealed is excellent ...
Although it can get tedious, do a search here on TA or just scroll down through a couple months.
My favorite is Haleakala -- any time of day. Lahaina is fun and a great place to shop. Catamaran cruises -- love %26#39;em -- for snorkeling or just hanging out.
