Lahaina Luau

Is there 2 Lahaina Luau%26#39;s? Does any know if Royal Lahaina Luau, and OLL are the same one, if not which is better? thanks :o)

Lahaina Luau

they are different and OLL is more expensive. we went to OLL last summer and enjoyed it.

Lahaina Luau

The other luau in Lahaina is Feast at Lele. We really enjoyed our evening there. Great food, beautiful location and we thought the show was fantastic......well worth the $$.

Drums of the Pacific at the Hyatt has the best fire knife dancer on Maui.

Feast at Lele is a good luau with a fire knife dancer.

Old Lahaina Luau does not have a fire knife dancer.

Royal Lahaina Luau is perhaps the best value as there are lots of discounts. It is also the most kid friendly. If you are on a budget %26amp; with kids, this may be the one for you. If you are not taking kids, stay away from this one as kids can be distracting.

I would choose any luau that has a fire knife dancer over one that does not.

Hi Royal Lahaina Luau has more variety of entertainment than the Old Lahaina Luau. Tahitian, Hawaiian, Maori, fire knife dancers etct. It is held next to the beach. They have a buffet with a variety of foods and then they have a mini buffett for the kids or any picky eater.

Old Lahaina luau focuses on Hawaiian entertainment. It is a mellow evening.

Feast of Lele near Lahaina Shores is a much smaller capacity luau. It is the only one you get a private table. When they are dancing Tahitian then you are eating a Tahitian course. The food course matches all the different entertainment.

Book early and check if they have any ';children are free'; specials.

OLL is the number one rated laua, we loved it!!!!

food was great, dancers amazing, and the people at our table were great.

have fun!!!!!!

The Royal Lahaina Luau is at the Royal Lahaina Resort which is just north of the Sheraton in Ka%26#39;anapali. It is good value for the money and is good if you plan to take young children.

The Old Lahaina Luau is located in Lahiana on a lovely piece of oceanfront property. It features traditional Hawaiian hula and dances and is very highly rated.

Feast at Lele is oceanfront on the south end of Lahaina. It is more intimate with private tables and servers and weaves a multicourse meal with the music and hula from various tropical islands.

Do a search on this forum and you will find many discussions and recommendations about all of these Luaus

Just returned and did the Royal Lahaina. Booked with a Boss Frog%26#39;s coupon and got a free snorkel trip (booked on Tuesday, went on Thursday). We had very low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. The drinks were good (not so watered down and we couldn%26#39;t keep up with the server!). Food was surprisingly good and the kids buffet was beyond expectation (crispy chicken nuggets - beef hot dogs etc.). It was not gourmet, but for $150 we fed 5 (only slightly more than any dinner we had!) and the coral gardens snorkel was a nice bonus. We did not do the timeshare presentation for the extra $100 off and she only half-heartedly asked us twice. The show was very good. I have nothing to compare it to, but budget-wise it was great.

KOO17 - can you give me more information about this coupon from Boss Frogs? Our family of five is going in Sept, and we are interested in the RLL and would love to get a free snorkling trip added on.

I just booked the Drums of the Pacific Luau with Boss Frogs. I only had to pay for me and my husband. My 3 kids were free, They were able to give my 7 year old a free ticket or he would have been $46.00. The whole Luau for the 5 of us came to $170.00. He asked if we were interested in seeing a timeshare presentation. I said no, and there was no pressure at all.

I asked the guy what Luau he thought would be the best for kids, and what each Luau was like.He told me that the Royal Lahaina usually has more than 700 people at it, but said it was a great value. I also read horrible reviews about it, so I decided to spend a little more money.

Also, if you do a search of Luau%26#39;s some websites offer Kaanapali Beach Luau, it%26#39;s the Royal Lahaina one.

We%26#39;ll be there in 2 weeks, I%26#39;ll let you know how the Luau was.

OOPS...Boss frogs has a few different websites. I don%26#39;t know their website, but if you do a google search for luaus in maui, you%26#39;ll find them. If you call their 800 number, you will get a better deal.
