Saw the new movie...filmed on Oahu.

I went to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was filmed on Oahu, and from what I could tell, mostly at the Turtle Bay Resort.

OK, so I went mainly to see the ';scenery';, and to have popcorn. I wasn%26#39;t disappointed as far as those two things. The movie itself...kind of good, crude at times, language needed a tad bit of a clean-up.

The scenery was awesome. I have to admit, only here on TA, because no one else would ';understand';, including DH, there was a scene that ';made my eyes water';. It was when Peter met Kimo for the first time. They were standing on the beach with the AQUA-BLUE water in front of them. My Oh My!!! It hit me just how much I miss Hawaii, and how disappointed I am about our canceled trip this year!

I really liked the music in the movie. At the end when the credits were on, the song ';Nothing Compares 2 U'; was playing. I believe it is by the Coconutz. Great song, done in Hawaiian.

Anyone else see this movie yet??

I saw it yesterday and thought it was great. It wasn%26#39;t exactly highbrow to say the least, but it was perfect for what it was. Made me want to spend a few days at Turtle Bay that%26#39;s for sure. I loved the decor of the resort.

I think the guy who played the rockstar boyfriend stole the show. He cracked me up.

The movie was pretty good, I too could have done without the nudity. I%26#39;m not a prude but I don%26#39;t think nudity is that nescessary in movies. Well, maybe if you are watching porn it is necessary. Anyway, the scenery was beautiful, loved the water and the view of the mountains. It got me excited for my Hawaii trip.

Haven%26#39;t been to Turtle Bay in almost 16 years so it will be nice to see the movie and see what it looks like.

I have never seen the Turtle Bay Resort. Been by it and have seen pics on the internet. But after seeing the movie, I would really like to visit the place.

If I remember correctly, scorchestra has been there and likes this place a lot. Perhaps after she sees the movie, she can post here and let us know about the accuracy of the location shots. It does look like a wonderful resort.

We saw it yesterday, we are staying at Turtle Bay, August 1st so we went just to see the resort in the movie. Now I REALLY cant wait to go! Funny movie alitte bit ranchy but funny. Im so excited now!!!
