Beach area at Kaanapali Beach Club

We%26#39;ll be staying at the ';Big Pink Building';, the Kaanapali Beach Club. Can anyone tell me if the Beach area is very big, or will we need to go to another beach? Thanks!

The beach there is plenty big. And one of the best on island.

Good snorkeling, long areas for walking on the beach,(you can walk south on the beach all the way to Black Rock, then over the Sheraton and all the way to Waiakuli)

If you get bored - drive to a different one but this one is GREAT!

Is it still pink since Sunterra took over from Embassy Suites?

Yeah the beach there is decent, it does get a lot smaller during high tide but then so does every other beach.

Thank you very much for letting us know about the beach at KBC. It%26#39;s great news for us. We%26#39;re excited about our trip and cannot to go snorkeling. We really appreciate your help!!

Yep. It%26#39;s still pink :)

I was surprised to read in some posts that there are good beaches at properties in Kahana, having remembered only seawalls and bits of sand that came and went with the tide.

Can someone tell me where good swimming and snorkeling beaches are to be found near the Kaanapali properties? I%26#39;m under the impression that few of the Kaanapali %26#39;beachfront%26#39; properties have more than %26#39;beach%26#39; (sand). If they don%26#39;t have their own swimming/snorkeling beaches, where do guests go for those activities? Black Rock? How far?

With so many high-rise, high-density properties in Kaanapali, I%26#39;m envisioning a horde of people from thousands of hotel rooms descending on one spot. What%26#39;s the story?
