Kauai Sunsets Revisited.

We%26#39;re back. I%26#39;m trying to catch up on work, but will probably post about our trip within the next week.

We went to the Hanalei Beach for sunset 1 evening. Turn by Kalypso. At the T take a right and follow to the end of the road. You can park in the parking lot or drive down and park on the beach. Great sunsets.

If you go to the Princeville resort, just before the guard tower are 10 parking spaces. If they are full, take a right immediately after the guard station. Go to the last row, and take a right. There%26#39;s public parking back there. You can go through the resort. Main lobby goto the elevators in the way back to the right (you%26#39;re on floor 9). Goto floor 4. From there, take the hallway all the way down to the next elevator. Got to floor 1, take the doors out to the pool. You can sit on the pool chairs down on the beach. The pool bar has GREAT Mia Tia. Although they are $11 each. If you don%26#39;t want to go thru the hotel, to the left of the guard shed is a public sidewalk that leads down to the beach/pool. It%26#39;s marked pretty well.

You can also go to Bali Hai. Happy Talk (bar has pretty good views). The former restaurant has better views. I talked to the bar tender. You can go over there and watch the sunset. Waitress will server you over there on Fridays %26amp; Sundays. Overwise, you have to run over to the bar. 100-150 feet. Not far at all.

We also went over to the Cliff Resort and watched one night. Not a great view, but not too bad.

We also headed down to the Salt Ponds. Just before, the park, you can take a left, and head to parking between the beach and the ponds.

Sit 10 feet or so from the water line and sit still. Wait the little sand crabs come to life. They%26#39;re quite entertaining.

Thanks:)

Although we went there during the day, we talked to some people who did sunset from the Queen%26#39;s Bath. Once the sun goes down, I%26#39;m done with the uphill hikes.
