Kauai Coffee Company closed?

Does any one know if the Kauai Coffee Company is still kicking? I had been receiving mail order coffee for awhile, and it stopped. I emailed two of the folks that work there, and no reply. I also called and got the machine. Really strange if you ask me. My wife and I loved the place on our visit, so I hope nothing has happened to them.

I just tried their website and it would not open and I also tried their email address and it came back ';undeliverable'; Not a good sign.

I drive by there at least a couple of times a week and while I couldn%26#39;t swear to it - I%26#39;m pretty sure they were open and had cars in the parking lot when we went by a couple of days ago.

I%26#39;ll double check and let you know. I haven%26#39;t heard anything about it closing and I think it would be pretty big news around here if it did.

OK, Mystery solved!!

I just had a friend on the island respond to my post on Fodor%26#39;s. She called and the Kauai Coffee Company is still going strong.

Here is their website. Ok, we know we can still get our good fresh caffiene fix when we get there.

I was there just a few days ago and it was bustling. But I just tried the link above with no luck! They were accepting applications for coffee every month in the mail so I had the impression all was well.

This link must be funky. It worked for me earlier, but not now also. But, my friend from the north shore says all is well.

A few miles from Poipu, just off Highway 50 (the main road) and a convenient stop on the way to and from Waimea Canyon, Kokee State Park, and the Russian Fort, we invite you to stop by our estate to learn more about how coffee is grown, harvested, processed, and graded.

If traveling East-West on Highway 50, just beyond the town of Kalaheo, turn left on Highway 540.

If traveling West-East on Highway 50, just beyond the town of Eleele, turn right on Highway 540. Kauai Coffee Company Visitor%26#39;s Center will be on the Ocean side.
