Portable a/c rental?

I know this is a hard one to answer but does anyone know of a place that rents portable air conditioners?

I tried calling a few places but no one seems to do it. Any help would be appreciated :)

I would think the owner of where you are staying would not want that. The electrical costs are sky high on Kauai - open the windows and sliders - let the fresh air flow. If you really need air, how about staying at a few of the places that do offer air - hotels and some (few) condo%26#39;s. We do have air at the Pointe at Poipu and never use it.

You could buy a portable fan at Walmart, but the owner most likely has one. I agree. If you think you%26#39;ll want a/c stay where there%26#39;s a/c.
