Heana beach house

Has anyone rented a house in Heana? Is it close enough to easily get something to eat at a restaurant? It looks very beautiful in the pictures. Thanks.

Heana beach house

Aloha from Kaua%26#39;i!

There are quite a lot of vacation rentals in the Ha%26#39;ena area -do you have a particular one in mind?

Location-wise it is in a beautiful, lush part of the North Shore - you don%26#39;t have any restaurants other than Mediterranean Gourmet really closeby - but you can drive about 10 minutes into Hanalei Town for lots of other choices and shops also.

It is almost to the ';end of the road'; and Ke%26#39;e Beach.

Heana beach house

I stayed in a rental in Haena in June a few years ago. The house was right on the highway, about halfway between Tunnels and Hanalei Colony Resort. It got quite hot in the house in the afternoon, so make sure your house has AC.

There are almost no dining options in Haena, other than the restaurant next to HCR, and maybe a taco stand or something. Figure on driving to everything from Haena.

But it is beautiful.

We stayed in a small 2 bedroom house right on the beach in Haena last summer. It was beautiful and we loved being right on the water. We were in walking distance to the new Mediterrian Gourmet Restaurant that was excellent and served both lunch and dinner. We had to drive into Hanalei for any other meals but we quite frankly did not want to leave. The house was great and we loved it. No, we did not need A/C and we were there in early July. We rented the house through Kauai Vacation Rentals.

Thanks. I love my a/c so I will check on that though I may be coming from another island and may have acclimated by then. I have four sons...guess you entertain yourself there.

The house we stayed at was very close to Tunnels Beach and Ke%26#39;e Beach. There is plenty of snorkeling and hiking in the area and the Tropical Gardens are close by. Kauai is not a shopping meca and hasvery little night life. We go to relaxand enjoy the beauty. Not sure where youlive in the USA, but in 18+ years of tyraveling to Kauai, we have never needed A/C. Kauai tends to be a lot cooler than the other islands (sometimes, 20 degrees cooler).
