For those of you who have visited the Polynesian Cultural Center, my wife is concerned about her clothing for the day. We are to arrive at the PCC around noon and stay through the luau and evening show. My wife is concerned about getting hot and sweaty, and not looking good for the luau and show. (She has allowed me to post this message.) What%26#39;s been your experiences with this issue? Thanks!

There is a pretty good chance that you will get hot and sweaty. We sure did! But the luau and the show are not formal, dress-up kind of things. If she is concerned, perhaps take a clean top and shorts or maybe a sundress in a backpack.

We didn%26#39;t worry about it. The show and luau and not fancy at all. Most have been there all day.
Funny, I would be more concerned about being too cold at night or on the bus (if you do a tour with transportation included).
For heat of day, take an extra blouse or sundress. Take a zip-lock bag with a washcloth/hotel soap.
And, a lite wrap/shawl/sweater for evening.
Doubt that you will need any wrap for the show. The amphitheatre wasn%26#39;t well ventilated ... it was cooking in there. But this was in September, so I hope you get some nice breezes.
I second Miss. A sweater may be over doing it.
Don%26#39;t worry, everyone will be hot and sweaty by the end of the day. And just for good measure it may even rain on you in the afternoon like it did on us! By the time we got on the bus to go back to Waikiki, everyone looked a little worse for wear, but we all had a great time!
Many people including myself keep a clean shirt in the car. You will have plenty of time between the Ali%26#39;i Luau %26amp; %26#39;Horizons%26#39; to clean up a little.
