Kuhio - Down to 2 choices HELP

Ok last post about this I promise. Fiance and I have narrowed it down to Kuhio Shores 309 and 412. There%26#39;s things we like about both and things we don%26#39;t like. Help us decide where to stay please. Thanks.

We are staying in KS 412 in about 2 weeks if you can wait for our review... I know that wanabe is staying in 412 this week and was going to give an update upon return... here%26#39;s wanabe%26#39;s last review of 412...

Kuhio - Down to 2 choices HELP

It looks like 309 is a corner unit (?) -- looks like great views! You probably can%26#39;t go wrong there. We stayed bay side at Kuhio Shores when we went in February. I can%26#39;t wait to try an ocean view unit next time.

You will absolutely love the heavenly sound of the ocean waves right outside your door. I seriously miss that sound!! The sunrises and sunsets are wonderful.

Enjoy!

Bunecca, being that you have stayed at KS before, did it bother you to not have AC? I am a wimp when it comes to being able to get cooled off. KS looks so nice....viewed it on wizardpub.com.

Thanks for any info.

Patti ... we stayed in the same unit that Bunecca did (we were there last week.) The unit faces the bay and we didn%26#39;t get any cross breeze through the unit, other than what we could get via fans. Outside temps were quite comfortable, but I wondered if the units that face the ocean get more breeze, therefore keeping the condo a bit cooler?

We really enjoyed KS and would stay there again. The lack of a/c wouldn%26#39;t bother me, but if planning another trip, I would probably post a question on this forum to determine which side (bay or ocean) gets better air flow through the condo. It may be that none of the units get much breeze coming in from the lanai%26#39;s unless the breeze comes from the south or east.

Pattie ~

We were never uncomfortable during our stay. We always had the window open to allow as much air flow as possible. We were there the middle of February, so it wasn%26#39;t hot like summer time.

In the morning, we would sit on the lanai and it was very nice. We were usually exploring during the day and would come back late afternoon or so. I didn%26#39;t mind it being a little warm because I had come from snow and ice :-)

What time of year are you visiting? I think summer is much hotter ~ so it might be a little more uncomfortable then.

You will love Kuhio Shores!

We stayed in 412 and LOVED it. I don%26#39;t know anything about the other one. 412 juts out further than the others and is on the top floor. The owners are great, too.
