Cruise terminal to the USS Arizona Memorial

We will be docking in October (Royal Carribean Cruise line) and wonder if anyone can tell me where to catch the bus for the Arizona. I do not know where we dock. I have a map of the bus system, but need to know where we dock so I can find out if it is a long walk. Has anyone done this RCI to Arizona? Thanks.

Cruise terminal to the USS Arizona Memorial

I believe Royal Caribbean docks near the Aloha Tower. According to the Royal Caribbean web site, there terminal is at 521 Ala Moana Blvd, which is just a couple blocks from Aloha Tower.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much. It did not occur to me that RCI would list the terminal address! Cheers, Vicky

I dont think there is a bus....and if their was it would be a waste of time. its not like San Diego...

Its a $40 cab ride and will take 25 to 30 min.....its not a walk

You might also try posting for more info on cruisecritic.com...great site with lots of cruise info.

Vicky .... depending on the date and with the activities at the docks on the day you arrive into Honolulu, I would say that the RCI will probably dock at Pier 10 at the Aloha Tower Marketplace.

Cruise ships visiting for the day or two, do arrange a USS Arizona tour for their passengers. Check on board your cruise ship before docking. Other wise, taxi would be the only other way to go. ASAP, get yourself off the ship, get a taxi at curbside and head for the USS Arizona before the cruise ships tour busses get there. You might get the taxi to go to Pearl Harbor and if you still insist, get the bus back to the ship.

Good luck,

Thank you, Mamma, I did just that (meet %26amp; mingle, cruisecritic) and there IS a city bus, a short walk away $2, $1 for hubbie %26amp;%26amp;%26amp;%26amp; there is a shuttle $18 round trip, sounds even better since there aren%26#39;t a lot of stops. Thank you others for your input.

If anyone has tried the shuttle or the bus, please give feedback.

Both #20 %26amp; #42 will go to USS Arizona Memorial. The same two buses will go back to downtown Honolulu %26amp; Waikiki

Not exactly sure where the cruise ship will dock, but #20 %26amp; #42 will get close to the dock.

#42 appears to use South Street to Beratania %26amp; then toward Pearl Harbor.

#20 appears to go a couple more blocks on Ala Moana Blvd toward Aloha Tower, then on Alakea Street to Beratania %26amp; then to Pearl Harbor.

On the way back, #20 %26amp; #42 take King Street %26amp; take Punchbowl to Ala Moana then to Waikiki. So you could get off anywhere close on King Street or on Punchbowl near the cruise ship. King Street runs right through Chinatown so that may be a nice place to get off the bus.

The ship should be docking near Aloha Tower area. Probably closer to Punchbowl Street or South Street on this map. Might be just off the bottom of the map or on the map nearer to Aloha Tower.

Either way, you shouldn%26#39;t have to walk more than a couple of blocks to catch the bus.

Thank you so much, it is great to hear it from the local expert. So kind of you to provide such detailed information. It%26#39;s just that the ship wants to charge soooooo much to get you there.

And, yes, I have heard that we dock near the Aloha Towers. Thank you TA buddies!

Unless you are ending your cruise here and heading for the airport, please be aware that the ship will not wait for you if you come back late! I wouldn%26#39;t trust the local buses to get you back in time! If you are there for several days..fine. But the routes suggested take FOREVER!

From cruise ship to USS Arizona Memorial about 35 minutes by bus. And there are at least 2 routes (#20, #42) that you can use. I think I would trust the city bus schedule more than I would shuttles.
