Will we be able to see any whales in mid-May? If so, where%26#39;s the best place.

While ther are several species of whales that live all year long in Hawaii most are not much bigger than a Dolphin.... not the big Gray and Humpbacks that leave by mid March on Hawaii and mid April from Maui...

There may be a few humpback whales still here in mid-May, but you probably won%26#39;t see any.

Star of Honolulu whale watching cruises end April 30.

Best chance to see whales off Oahu in mid-May (if there are any left) will be from Makapuu Lighthouse Trail on the windward side or Yokohama Bay on the leeward side.

We seen whales last week in Kauai. Napoli Coast, Queen%26#39;s Bath, The Cliffs, and the lighthouse (all from land).

We generally go the second half of April and usually don%26#39;t see many.
