Snorkeling

Just curious as to which beaches have rinse stations, specifically in regards to Tunnels, Ke%26#39;e, and Lawai. We plan to snorkel at these places, but will not be going straight back to the condo afterwards. Nothing worse than salty, itchy, dry skin during a meal and sightseeing. Thanks! :)

KE%26#39;E beach used to have showers at the old restroom area. However, a new comfort station was under construction. If that has been completed, then the answer would be yes for Ke%26#39;e. Maybe some recent visitors to Ke%26#39;e can help with that.

LAWAI: ( Beach House ) has a shower outside on the left side of the restroom bldg. We immedieately go over and was off our snorkel gear and then ourselves with fresh water and then head back to the mat/towel to warm back up and dry off in the sun. We lay out on the beach house lawn, watch the surfers, and maybe read a bit, or just relax and talk about what fish we saw while snorkeling.

TUNNELS: Out of luck there, but if memory serves me correctly you can shower back at Haeana Beach park, which is where your car will probably be parked.

POIPU: Has showers, outside, not too far from the restroom, and pavillions.

Shipwreck: There is an outside shower next to the restrooms near the open beach access parking area.

No showers at: Secret, Larsens, Hideaways.

Hope this helps.

If you are at any of the North Shore beaches, Tunnels, Kee, Haena, etc, you could always stop on the way back through Hanalei at any of the Hanalei Bay Beach areas where there are restrooms and rinse showers.

Good tips to note. Thanks! :)
