Hala Pau Hana ?

Can anyone tell me where the dumpster is? (I am trying to figure out if some units would be more noisy than others.) Any morning delivery noise? Any favorite units that you are willing to talk about? Having an unobstructed oceanfront is important to us and a king bed. I have seen the pix online, but am hoping for more info. Thanks!

if i remember the dumpsters are at the end of the parking lot by the exit gate but i could be wrong -- whereever they are we never heard any noise from them when we were there in nov and dont anticipate any noise from them next week when we are there again or in next november when that will make 3 stays there in 1 year --same holds true with morning delivery noise -- have no idea what they have delivered

all condos have unobstructed ocean views whether in the high rise or the low rises---my bw likes the ground floor low rise becasue the lanai seems bigger then the terraces and we can walk right out onto the grass and then the beach

last nov we were in 4- next week we are in 5 and in november we are in 6------we wanted to stay in 4 again but it was already booked almost 1 yr in advance---------imo the only down side to hph is that it is not totally a/c just the bedroom --but there is a ceiling fan in the l/r and there was a portable fan in the closet that we used to help circulate the air--other then that its perfect enough for us to book it 3 times

if you have any other questions just ask but make it fast cause we leave on tues

Hi, we just got back from hph. Units 16,17,18,23, 24 and 2 in the lowrise building are all very very nice. We were in 24 this time but have been in 2 (our favorite) and 18 a couple times. However I am a room peeker and have seen the others. Unit 23 is gorgeous. Unit 24 is absolutely beautiful.

There are several dumpster sites and there is noise on that side of the building because you are on South Kihei Road which is extremely busy. However, once you close the door and open your slider on the water side all you hear is the waves.

Any recommendations in the high-rise? Is it less desireable: and if so, why? Thanks for the info so far!

imo -- less desireable because of elevators --hallways but thats just me

I prefer the low rise but I know the units are bigger in the tower and the one bedrooms have two bathrooms which is nice. 401 just got a new kitchen!

I stayed in 201 in the highrise last year. It was nice. A month or two later I was looking for rooms for this year and that unit had been completely updated. Now it%26#39;s really nice. We%26#39;ll be staying on the 3rd floor this year. My mom prefers the view.

Would noise from the laundry downstairs by audible on your lanai in the 01 units? Thanks everybody!

Bump

I doubt it. If anywhere then maybe 101 right on the corner but we were in 201 and never heard anything. We would walk by the laundry vacility from out condo to the beach every day and I didn%26#39;t ever hear noise from it. The laundry room is in a separate building from the high rise (right next door a few feet) and it%26#39;s by the parking lot. The lanai%26#39;s are on the ocean side so I don%26#39;t think you would hear a thing.

Can anyone explain to me a little bit on where this is in location to stores, restaurants and attractions? I%26#39;m just starting my search for a 6 night honeymoon stay and am still a little unknowledgable about Maui in general.

Thanks

Scott
