clothing for tour

Hi,

We will be taking the half tour to Hana from Ekahi tours (Hana- Keane) from Wailea in early June!

What clothing is appropriate for this tour? Will the areas we are going through be much cooler than in Wailea?

I have not made the specific tour but have driven to Hana and my wife/I wore the same short,sandals,tank tops,etc as we did everywhere on the island. The only place we dressed different was for sunrise at Haleakala.

Not cooler ... unless you will be taking an air-conditioned van.

It depends on what you are going to do on the tour. Are you stopping at beaches? Then wear a cover-up and shorts over your bathing suit and toss a pair of reef shoes or flip flops in your back-pack.

What I meant was is there a change in altitude that would call for bringing jackets, wearing long pants, am umbrella (rain forest) instead of shorts? I have read that you go along some higher areas!
