getting to know the Maui Lover

We all have one thing in common, obviously our love for Maui. We must also all like summer, duh. With summer at our door, what do Maui lovers do at home for fun in the summer time. Whats your favorite?

Me. road trips that involve camping and taking pictures, sitting around a fire at night wherever we end up reflecting on the day.

Very interesting question yetalo! I%26#39;d say for me it%26#39;s quite a few weekends spent with my inlaws and brothers-in-laws, with BBQ late night, with a few empty beer cans laying on the ground! :)

Took one of my b-i-ls to Maui about 3 years ago, yetalo when the road around 7 pools WAS open.....somehow we made it back to Kihei after a very long day.

But a most interesting one! Hana was a blur to us! :)

Great question. We LOVE the Jersey shore it is so unlike anything in NY. The Hamptons don%26#39;t compare, the only down side is Jersey gets winter. I surf so the best surf on the East Coast is the Jersey shore.

So interesting NYFoodie, as I%26#39;ve only been to Galveston in Texas and South Padre in deep south Texas. Would be interesting to have vacation in your beach area...sounds great. :)

we live close to the Monterey Bay and end up going to the beach often. We love evenings walking along the path from Monterey to Asilomar and then out to dinner at one of the restaurants at the wharf or cannery row.

Yetalo....We spent 2 weeks in Alaska last summer...had a WONDERFUL time and love every moment.

awesome everyone!

1survivorfan-glad you loved it here-My husband and I are #1survivor fans as well! We belong on the show now, well just me, husband couldn%26#39;t hack it.

watching survivor=winter activity

Scuba, kayak, snorkel, mow the yard, tend to the orchids, papaya %26amp; bananas in the backyard, work more because it is the busy season on Maui.....

Scub...tough life on Maui...I can help with that yard work...just need a nice bed!

I loved your comment...very real and funny! :)

more walks down at the pier ~ dining outdoors at sidewalk cafes ~ walking dogs more after work (they don%26#39;t like the dark any more than I do) ~ take in more movies ~ attend concerts by Hawaiian musicians (outdoor concerts are especially nice) ~ visit more beach towns up and down the California coast ~ rent Hawaii dvds ~ plan next trip to Maui ~
