Breakfast in Poipu.... HELP!!

Aloha!!

I really need some help coming up with some place to go for a good breakfast that is in the Poipu area!! We are staying in a condo but are getting in too late to do any grocery shopping and are getting up early the next morning to go to Allerton! Any suggestions I would greatly appreciate!!

Being a golfer, these two places are tied to golf courses.

Joes on the Green at Kiahuna.

The Poipu Golf Club Restaurant - I love their Fritatta and my wife enjoys their fruit pancakes (not the cheapest place, but very good and a nice view of the golf course)

Po%26#39;ipu Tropical Burgers In the Po%26#39;ipu Shopping Village, opens early. Great breakfasts!

';Tom Kats'; in Koloa has a nice breakfast as well. Joe%26#39;s on the Green is nice but the service tends to be slow so allow enough time. Poipu Grill at the Hyatt golf course is very good and we%26#39;ve had good service there.

Lapperts opens at 6am

They have a big selection of pastries to go along with the coffee (or in my case, ice cream!)

- the old Po%26#39;ipu Bay Golf Club Restaurant is now a new asian restaurant called ';Yum Cha%26#39;s'; - and I don%26#39;t believe they serve breakfast.

I would also add the breakfast buffet at Shells restaurant at the Sheraton Kaua%26#39;i - right on the water and beach at Po%26#39;ipu - great breakfast choices as well. You can sit outside and be practically in the sand!

Good to see a recommendation for Sheraton Kauai :) We will be staying there and I was beginning to think we won%26#39;t get any good food on the premises!

The Poipu Golf Course Restaurant is only Yum Cha at night. They serve bfast and lunch as usual during the day and it%26#39;s quite good. You can check it out on the Hyatt%26#39;s website.

Mahalo for that info - the Hyatt only seems to be promoting Yum Cha in house right now - so I thought that the old Po%26#39;ipu Bay Golf restaurant was pau!

Wow, Janet, I can%26#39;t believe I was aware of something you weren%26#39;t! I am so proud of myself cause you are a wealth of information and good vibes for Kauai:-) The Hyatt probably makes more money at night with Yum Cha so it doesn%26#39;t surprise me that they%26#39;re promoting that over bfast and lunch.
