Can't live without...

I%26#39;ve just started my packing list for our fall trip and it seems like I%26#39;m over looking something. We%26#39;re trying to keep it simple, mostly because of baggage limits. But by the looks of my list there might be one bag between the three of us (that would be great wouldn%26#39;t it!).

What is the item you can%26#39;t live with out when you%26#39;re on the island?

Can't live without...

Water shoes. I even use them going to the pool since the ground gets so hot.

Can't live without...

packing for 3 people in one bag will most likely cause you to pay for a checked bag and maybe even overweight----------------haqve you considered packing 3 carryon bags and its every persons responsiblity to move their luggage

there really isnt one item i cant live without becasue if i needed something bad enough i would go out and buy it

The only thing you have to have are swimsuits, coverups, and hats. Everything else, including cheap sandals, you can buy at the ABC store.

Depending on where you want to go to dinner, you might want one set of decent clothes, but that%26#39;s it.

Are you staying somewhere with a washer/dryer? You can plan on getting dirty and swetty. And you will do alot of walking. Sandals are great ... but a pair of tennies and socks will come in handy when your feet get sore/blisters.

One bag for three people sounds unreasonable to me. For the cost of a Hawaiian vacation, opting to pay for another suitcase doesn%26#39;t seem out of the question. And you will want to purchase goodies to bring home.

How many nights are you staying?

We always take one carry one each. You don%26#39;t need much. We wear our shoes pants and long-sleeved clothes on the plane, since shorts, sandals and T%26#39;s take up much less space.

I find it quite liberating to pack so light.

Binoculars.

One bag, meaning for the extras.

All clothes always go in the carry-on, that way you make it there with your bathing suite. We never bring much (the benifit of washers in the room). So we have two small suite cases between us. The third is three so his clothes don%26#39;t take up much room.

It looks like all that%26#39;s left is snorkel gear, shampoo and bathroom stuff not allowed in carry-ons and the cooler. It all fits in one bag and underweight too.

I did add binoculars to my list. Thanks for that one.

My snorkel gear-hate renting the stuff

Yes, I know you all are expecting this...................My pink speedo, because I%26#39;m not sure I could find just the right one on Maui! :)
